Young Climate 200 campaigner on Channel 10

On 27 January, Channel 10 aired a 3-minute interview about the Community Independents movement and Climate 200.

"Young people can campaign, and we can build power. And the feedback has been phenomenal," Katya told Channel 10.

Katya is one of 10 young people from across Australia working with Climate 200's 'Future Leaders' this summer.

Will Darcy become Corangamite's next representative?

The Liberal Party is eager to win the Corangamite seat and has invested heavily in promoting their candidate, Darcy Dunstan. He has been in full election mode since last year, door-knocking and distributing professional-looking social media videos, supported by ongoing ads in local newspapers.

The Liberal Party has picked up Trump's playbook, cleverly mixing it with messaging similar to that of the Community Independents movement. They say, "Your voice matters," and run a community survey. But here's the catch: your voice won't matter if you vote for Darcy, as he has already committed his parliamentary vote to his party - just as Labor's Libby Coker has.

Do you want to be heard?

Would you like to see your local interests represented in Parliament? Would you like to see action on climate, equity, integrity, and transparency?

Then join us. Become part of the change!

Will you be a volunteer?

We need more team members to help Corangamite's Community Independent candidate run on a platform of integrity, women's rights, and climate action in Parliament.

Please help us spread the word among your friends, colleagues, and family that the Surf Coast, Bellarine, Armstrong Creek, and Geelong areas will have a Community Independent candidate to vote for in the next federal election.

More importantly, we need your help. Join us as we rally for support in our community for genuine representation and a restored democracy in the Federal Parliament.
