We meet in Geelong on Friday 6 December 2024 at Beav’s Bar in Lt Malop Street from 5 to 7 pm
The federal election is ON! The rumour mill suggests it could happen as soon as mid- to late March.
We believe that in Torquay, the Bellarine, and Corio, many people are eager to vote for a community independent candidate. But to make that a reality, we need someone listed on the ballot come election day.
There’s still time to build a strong community independents movement in Corangamite, and we already have several candidates expressing interest in running. But we need to act quickly and unite around key issues: authentic solutions to cost of living, integrity, women’s rights, and climate action in Parliament.
This Friday night (6 December), a few of us are catching up socially at Beav’s Bar (Lt Malop Street) from 5 to 7 pm. It’s a casual opportunity to connect and chat about independents in Geelong.
I know this is short notice, but we’d love for you to join us - and feel free to bring friends or others who share these views or might be interested in the discussion!
If you’d like to attend, please send us a quick e-mail: info@voicesofcorangamite.org
